• “The best spot to take Salaa lessons is at La Mecca Dance Chicago! Owner/Salsa Queen, Laura Flores, has the moves, footwork and music to make you a great dancer. The environment is welcoming and friendly, with plenty of smiles each time you take a lesson! It’s a great spot to meet new friends that plan social outings to numerous events! Oooh and the monthly El Destino Socials are 💯 a blast!!”

• “I loved attending La Mecca! I started with the two-day On2 intensive, which was the perfect introduction for transitioning from On1 to On2 Salsa. After the intensive, I continued into monthly sessions, and both experiences were fantastic. I’ll admit, my brain was glitching a bit between old muscle memory and the new timing, but it was such a fun challenge. Laura is an amazing teacher – she brings such an incredible energy to every class, is super thorough, and I love how she pushes you to improve step by step. I really have to credit Laura's vision in La Mecca for kickstarting my On2 journey. Although some circumstances pulled me away far away from from the city, but I’d love to return and train here again when I can. The class sizes are perfect, and I love the extended class format. The split between footwork and partner work, which builds on fundamentals as well as introducing new twists is really well-balanced.”

• “Highly recommend!! La Mecca is THE PLACE to learn how to dance the NY style salsa On2 in Chicago. I have no words to describe how finding Laura has changed my life. Not only she has taken my dancing skills to the next level in just a few months, but also has given me the confidence and motivation I needed. Laura is an amazing instructor and dancer, experienced, patient, positive and motivating. She will challenge you while having a lot of fun! La Mecca community is warm and friendly and will welcome you with open arms!”
