List your dance events.
No studio required.
For instructors, DJs, festival organizers, and anyone who runs events without a fixed studio operation. Free to publish a one-time event, set a door cover, and get found by dancers nearby. Online ticketing and attendee analytics are on the way; today you list, you're discovered, and you check guests in at the door.
Three audiences, one discovery surface.
Bailar serves three audiences that share the same event surface: studios with fixed locations and weekly classes (/for-studios), venues that host social events (/for-venues), and individuals who organize events without either of those — workshops, congresses, traveling instruction, pop-up socials.
The Event Host path exists because the studio and venue tiers carry SaaS overhead (roster management, multi-location, embed widgets) that an individual organizer doesn't need. You get the listing and discovery without paying for tools you wouldn't use.
You don't need to subscribe to start. Publishing an event, setting a door cover, and showing up in the app feed are all free. The optional Event Host subscription is for the cohort analytics and attendee CSV export coming next — subscribe when that data starts mattering for your business.
Everything you need to put an event in front of dancers.
Free event listing
Publish a one-time event in minutes — name, date, venue, dance styles, description, and a flyer. Or scan a flyer and let Bia fill in the details. No fee to list.
Set a door cover
Add a single cover charge so dancers know the price before they arrive — or leave it blank for a free event. Guests pay at the door; you keep every dollar.
Built-in discovery
Your event surfaces in the Bailar app feed, on the city pages at bailar.site/events/[city], and as geo push to nearby dancers — the same audience studios and venues reach, without you needing to be one.
Door check-in
Dancers RSVP from the app so you know who's coming, and you can check guests in at the door the night of the event.
Payout onboarding, ready for ticketing
Connect a Stripe account from your account settings now so you're ready the moment paid online ticketing opens. Onboarding takes about five minutes; payouts go straight to your own Stripe.
What this isn't
Class rosters, instructor pay calculations, recurring class management, or student progress tracking. If you teach a regular weekly class, /for-studios is for you. This is for one-off events that don't need the full studio toolkit.
On the way for event hosts
These are in active development. We'd rather tell you what's real today than sell you a feature you can't use yet. When they ship, they light up right inside the host composer.

Event Host
$4.99/ mocancel anytime
An optional $4.99/mo add-on for the analytics individual hosts ask for first. It unlocks the data layer once online ticketing ships — it doesn't gate listing your events, which is free.
- • Attendee CSV export (names, emails, ticket types)
- • Per-event cohort analytics (repeat buyers, sell-through over time)
- • Discount-code performance breakdown
- • Priority email support
When the ${price}/mo add-on will be worth it: once paid ticketing ships and you start asking who came back to your last three events, which discount code converted best, or how your Friday social compares to your Saturday workshop on repeat-buyer rate. Until then, listing your events stays free.
The questions individual hosts actually ask
Who is this for?
Individual organizers running events without a full studio operation. A traveling instructor doing weekend workshops in different cities, a DJ who hosts monthly socials at a rotating venue, a festival organizer running an annual congress, a couple teaching pop-up bachata classes at hotel ballrooms. If you're an established studio with a fixed location and weekly classes, /for-studios fits better.
What does it cost to list an event?
Nothing. Publishing a one-time event, setting a door cover, getting found in the app feed, and checking guests in at the door are all free. The optional $4.99/mo Event Host subscription is for the cohort analytics and attendee CSV export coming alongside online ticketing — it never gates the free listing flow.
Do I need to be a Bailar instructor to use this?
No. Anyone signed in can create and list an event. You can be a non-instructor who happens to organize events. If you do also teach lessons, the instructor profile is free and adds an extra discoverability layer.
Can I list a recurring event?
Not from the web composer yet — it currently supports one-time events. If you run a weekly or recurring series, publish it from the Bailar mobile app, or list each date as a one-time event here for now. Recurring support on web is on the roadmap.
What about selling tickets online?
Paid online ticketing — multi-tier tickets, discount codes, refund windows, and Stripe Connect payouts — is in active development and not live on web yet. Today you set a single door cover and guests pay at the door. Connect your Stripe account now from account settings so you're ready the moment online ticketing opens.
Ready to put your event out there?
List your event in minutes, free. Get found by dancers nearby, and connect your Stripe account so you're ready when online ticketing opens.
