Carlitos and Cece are passionate and fun instructors and have such a great and fast-growing community. Fun, vibrant, inclusive and engaging lessons every week from starting your first lesson to dance bachata to fine techniques that push other leads and follows to grow. For me, what truly stands out above the rest is their viewpoint of growth over perfection. In times where I’ve felt frustration on my own, they’ve given the space, patience, confidence and knowledge to where we can succeed and feel comfortable.

After experiencing bachata classes with a few different teachers and studios, I am extremely happy to have found and taken multiple classes so far with Phoenix Bachata Dance Academy. While there are many studios with great energy and choreography, I believe and have felt that Phoenix Bachata Dance has truly provided a unique combination of patience, passion, and community for bachata that are vigorously embodied by the directors: Carlitos and Cece. Without fail, every class, regardless of the choreography level, is filled with fun and growth for myself and many others! I am very excited to see Phoenix Bachata Dance Academy continue to expand exponentially in Arizona!

Carlitos and Cece are incredible dancers and instructors! They are kind, proactive when teaching students, and always bring new, fresh, and fun dance moves to each class. I recommend these classes to anyone wanting to learn a new skill or just a fun hobby! :)

Phoenix Bachata Dance has completely elevated my dancing! The instructors are not only talented but also know how to bring out the best in every dancer. As someone who’s been dancing for years, I love that the classes are both challenging and fun. The atmosphere is so positive — it feels like family. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves bachata!

Great fun class by Carlitos and Cece. I was surprised how « easy » classes were but only because they break down every move and make it easy to understand. See you in the dance floor !!
